This project was an investment and designed & staged to sell. The home started out as a 90's original that I transformed with fresh and edgy design. I went with a neutral white palette with pops of charcoal.
The overall feel of this home was to be comfortable and functional but have a modern edge, making this home transitional in design. My favorite rooms in the end were the Powder Bathroom, Entry, and Office. All three of these space had such monumental changes that they are not recognizable.
The Powder Bath started out with pink floral wall paper and shinny gold fixtures. Since the wallpaper was proving to be a real hassle I had wood installed in two different widths and depths to create modern paneling. I finishing it off with a chrome freestanding vanity.
In the Entry I had 1x4 added to the wall of the staircase to add texture. The original railing was kept and lacquered black then paired new balusters & chandelier to finish the look.
The office was originally the formal living room when you walked into the home. The wall connecting it to the main living was closed off and French doors were added for privacy. The 1x4 design was repeated and sprayed the dark accent c
